The stylish ELSA coat for Whippets offers a super comfortable fit, that is machine washable for those who simply can't resist the mud. The ELSA offers a superb fit, that hugs the unique Whippet shape, covering the entire back for full protection. Luxurious, lightweight and eye-catching in these stunning colours.
The ELSA is designed with a lightweight, soft robust fabric perfect for full zoom mode. This coat is what makes the experience so much more enjoyable during those wet, windy days.
The neck drawstring feature on the snood keeps the coat secure, acting as a hood to protect those sensitive ears from the cold, wind and rain. This feature also helps prevent the coat from blowing around, along with its velcro fitted belt for ease of adjustability.
The inner layer is lined with black Airtex mesh. This allows air to circulate staying nice a dry throughout. Add a jumper to your wardrobe for that extra warmth. That's right! This Whippet mac is designed to be worn with or without a jumper or fleece.
The Whippet garment is easily folded away either into a small bag or coat pocket. It's always best to be prepared on a walk. They'll thank you on the dry journey home.

Options:
- Collar hole - Our collar holes standard placement is 2 inches up from the base of the snood. The collar hole is placed vertically with an opening of 2.6 inches. We can adjust the placement or opening to fit your collar and lead set upon request in the basket notes if needed.
- Harness hole - Our harness hole is placed 3 inches down from the base of the neck. The harness hole is positioned horizontally on the back, with an opening of 2 inches, designed with protective neoprene padding. This allows you to push through the harness ring securely and adds durability to the opening. We are limiting the risk of water passing through, creating a tighter seal, where the lead attaches to the harness.
- We can adjust the placement to fit your specific harness upon request in the basket notes if needed.

Although it's yet to be tested in the rain (no rain this summer!), the rain jacket is fantastic quality. The ocean green colour is lovely and the material is lovely and light. It's ideal for folding up, which is exactly what I was hoping for, so it's easy to carry around. This also means it can be layered with jumpers depending on the temperature. The sizing is good, after I double checked with Speedray themselves due to having a slightly odd shaped year old whippet.
The perfect raincoat for our whippet. It fits beautifully and the colour is very vibrant for those gloomy days. We've been so impressed with Speedray's products that we've decided to buy matching collar, harness and lead for this coat. So we'll crafted, why bother looking anywhere else?

We bought this coat in a rush before heading up to camp in Cumbria and the weather forecast was terrible. They were so kind and sent it straight to the national trust campsite to make sure it made it. Absolutely perfect coat with great coverage for the rain and he was the only one of us who always stayed dry in hours of long walks in the rain. Dirt also just seems to brush off and when washed doesn’t stain - it’s a been a perfect rain coat since. Very happy with the quality and colour.

This was our first order from Speedray and I’m so glad we did order. The quality and fit is brilliant. We get some many lovely comments about this coat. It’s perfect to pack in a bag just in case it rains (we all know how importan a just in case coat is for a whippet!) and it washes lovely too.

I genuinely don't know what we would have done without our Speedray Raincoats during this prolonged spell of wet weather. I'd been thinking about buying them for a while but kept putting it off because of the cost of buying two. Thankfully, I couldn't have timed it better!
What I like most is that they are lightweight and pack away so small that I can clip them onto my dog walking bag in a small stuff sack. They also dry off quickly. On colder days, they easily slip over a jumper or fleece. Beautifully made too. A very happy (and dry) pair of whippets!
