The Margot Gilet - Everything you need to know

You are looking at a premium, durable waxed cotton fabric. Lightweight & soft to the touch with a lush smooth textured feel, quilted & diamond stitched. With a gorgeous variety of stunning colours to choose from. The Margot Gilet is a stunning essential piece for your everyday adventures.

The Gilet is lined, by default, with our premium CAIRO Sand jumper fabric. This provides a comfortable, warm fit. There's more!

You can customise your unique gilet with any Speedray jumper of your choice. Simply, opt for the custom lining tab & include the jumper's name in your basket notes. 

Speedray has specifically designed these. Tried & tested by our family of whippets, brand reps & customers from all over the world.

They are beautifully crafted and sewn together, individually, by our local team of extremely talented seamstresses. Your gilet will be handmade to order, with materials sourced in the UK, reducing masses of wasted material & carbon footprint.

Creating the perfect Gilet for you

To the fun part! 

 - STEP 1 | We will begin by choosing what size is perfect for you. Referencing the size chart below. Measure your dog in all 4 areas. Take note of your measurements & compare them against our chart to see what size your dog fits into best. Select your gilet size in the 'Greyhound size' tab above.

- STEP 2 | How to choose your favourite colour. Simply reference your desired Gilet colour (from the images above) in your basket notes. This is done after you have added the Gilet to your basket.

This can be found in your basket before proceeding to checkout as shown here. 

Please be aware. Notes will not be shown on your order confirmation email but we can assure you. they are received and passed onto our seamstresses.

- STEP 3 | Do you want the matching wax cotton collar or a fur collar Gilet? Choose via the design tab. 

- STEP 4 |Do you use a harness? Opt for the harness hole. Choosing this option will require a less tailored, loose, wider fit to accommodate enough room for the harness to sit comfortably underneath the gilet. Please keep this in mind when opting for a harness hole.

If you do not wish to have the harness hole, simply leave the tab on 'without'.
