Well firstly my girl looks just stunning in this coat. 'Like Sherlock Holmes', my husband said, which I now can't unsee. Lots of compliments. I used the online size finder and it fits a treat and really covers her rear end, which she will appreciate when it's breezy. My full intention was that this was her 'smart' coat for around town but I'm so excited for her to wear it, she ended up careering around the woods in it today, through brambles, branches and snags. Not something I intend to make a habit of, but... it came back with one tiny mark, that's all! And never budged! I would very much compare it to the material, fit and functionality of a lightweight horse rug. I can see me buying another in another colour at some point. It feels like a long term investment.
