The Elsa offers a superb fit, that hugs the unique Whippet shape, covering the entire back for full protection. Luxurious, lightweight and eye-catching in these stunning colours.
The Elsa is designed with a lightweight, soft fabric perfect for full zoom mode. This is the coat that makes the experience of wet, windy days so much more enjoyable.
The neck drawstring feature on the snood keeps the coat secure, acting as a hood to protect those sensitive ears from the cold, wind and rain. This feature also helps prevent the coat from blowing around, along with its velcro fitted belt for ease of adjustability.
The Whippet garment is easily folded away either into a small bag. It's always best to be prepared on a walk. They'll thank you on the dry journey home.

Options:
- Collar hole - Our collar holes standard placement is 2 inches up from the base of the snood. The collar hole is placed vertically with an opening of 2.6 inches. We can adjust the placement or opening to fit your collar and lead set upon request in the basket notes if needed.

Harness hole - Our harness hole is placed 3 inches down from the base of the neck. The harness hole is positioned horizontally on the back, with an opening of 2 inches, designed with protective neoprene padding. This allows you to push through the harness ring securely and adds durability to the opening. We are limiting the risk of water passing through, creating a tighter seal, where the lead attaches to the harness. We can adjust the placement to fit your specific harness upon request in the basket notes if needed.

Absolutely lovely raincoat for my Whippy. She hates getting wet and would be reluctant to go out in the rain but now we get to splash about whatever the weather.
Bought a size S for my 5 month old girl whippet. Lots of room to grow into it and looks very fashionable! Feels great quality - the harness hole works great with the Elsa harness I have and even though I didn’t have the collar hole it still works really well with the Elsa collar also! No rubbing or bunching up. Will definitely be repurchasing if and when needed.
Plenty of room for a little fleece under also.
We love this coat, perfect for the winter when you need warmth and shower resistance. So easy to put on too, lovely quality, we have yet to put it in the wash but our other speedray coats have washed well, really recommend!! Have the two options with the neck (turned back or pulled forwards when it’s colder) is very useful too!
We did have to wait a while for the coat but when it arrived you can see why. The quality.of the coat was 100%. You can see that care goes into making all the products and knowing it’s handmade locally tops it off. It fits our whippet perfect. I will be recommending speedray.

Warm, durable, and fit my little guy perfectly. We had an unseasonably cold winter in the eastern US, and we used it 3x/day. They added a perfectly placed a harness hole. Oscar is a on the small side for a whippet - about 30 lbs/13.5 kg. Large slim fit great, with or without a base layer.
A simply stunning whippet coat!
We chose THE ELSA Sherpa Edition in 'Sand' for our cold beach walks along the East coast. With windchill off the North sea, temperatures can be biting. After reading other reviews, we sized-up to 'XL' for my whippet bitch, to allow for layering with fleece or jumper beneath... Perfect, except for the neck section being rather too long for her. But when folded back to reveal the thick DRUNA lining, it forms a lovely fleecy collar! Folded forward in the rain or sleet, the neck section forms a 'snood' and keeps the wet off this cold-sensitive whippet who doesn't do weather! The belt around her waist is the perfect length; sides of the coat lovely and deep to fully wrap-around and cover as much body as possible. The coat has been a success - beautifully shaped for a deep-chested curvy bitch, and roomy enough to allow sprinting at full-stretch and general play. With an additional fleece beneath on very cold days, with windchill into minus numbers, my sensitive girl seems perfectly happy to enjoy a 2hr walk and arrives back toasty-warm.

Lovely jumper. Fits perfectly round the front. Due to my whippets skinny bum, is a bit loose round the back end. I ordered the Medium Slim. Happy with my purchase.
Absolutely love the colour and the fit on our male whippet. My only thing is I wish the strap was longer. We got a large slim same as all his other clothing and the fit is perfect but the strap only just does up round his waist. Next size up would have been too big everywhere else unfortunately but I’ve made it work as I love the coat so much
I was very excited to receive the raincoat, as we live in Iceland where we are faced with extreme weather conditions. I was disappointed to see that the was no opening on the back (top neck area) to attach the leash. This means my dog cannot wear the warm hood as needed durin rainy/stormy weather without the leash blocking it.
Hi Elin, thank you for your feedback. Your order was placed with the ‘Without’ lead attachment option selected. We also offer Collar Hole, Harness Hole and Collar & Harness Hole options when configuring your coat. As ‘Without’ was selected, your coat was therefore handmade without an opening.
I had to wait a while for Kumo’s coat but it fits him perfectly! He used to get cold on walks and refuse to go but now that I use speed ray he always walks with joy. Every walk we always get compliments on Kumo’s coat. Would 100% recommend 🐶🧥❤️😍
