The Tegan coat for Greyhounds is a look you can't go wrong with. We use a slightly different fabric to our Roxy, Blue, Theo & Dobby for this coat. The Tegan uses a slightly more rigid blend of material, along with a smooth surface, provides a long-lasting super comfortable coat, machine washable, for those who simply can't resist the mud. The Tegan offers a superb fit, that hugs the unique Greyhound shape, covering the entire back for full protection. Luxurious, lightweight and eye-catching in this stylish olive colour.
The Tegan is designed with a lightweight, durable fabric perfect for adventures in full zoom mode. This coat is what makes the experience so much more enjoyable during those wet, windy days.
The neck drawstring feature on the snood keeps the coat secure, acting as a hood to protect those sensitive ears from the cold, wind and rain. This feature also helps prevent the coat from blowing around, along with its velcro fitted belt for ease of adjustability.
The inner layer is lined with black Airtex mesh. This allows air to circulate staying nice a dry throughout. Add a jumper to your wardrobe for that extra warmth. That's right! This Greyhound mac is designed to be worn with or without a jumper or fleece.
The Greyhound garment is easily folded away into a small bag. It's always best to be prepared on a walk. They'll thank you on the dry journey home.

All our clothing range is handmade to order in the heart of Lancashire, UK.
Options:
- Collar hole - Our collar hole standard placement is 2 inches up from the base of the snood. The collar hole is placed vertically with an opening of 2.6 inches. We can adjust the placement or opening to fit your collar and lead set upon request in the basket notes if needed.
- Harness hole - Our harness hole is placed 3 inches down from the base of the neck. The harness hole is positioned horizontally on the back, with an opening of 2 inches, designed with protective neoprene padding. This allows you to push through the harness ring securely and adds durability to the opening. We are limiting the risk of water passing through, creating a tighter seal, where the lead attaches to the harness. We can adjust the placement to fit your specific harness upon request in the basket notes if needed.
Please keep in mind. Making any changes to our specifications will not qualify with our returns policy, as this will be categorised as a bespoke coat, made to your personal preference. Please do contact us first if you are not sure about sizing.

Today, we have 5 Amazing full & part time seamstresses, all working from home, locally to ourselves in Lancashire. They adore what we do and love sharing their amazing sewing experience & skills through our designs.
Going into our busy season. Our biggest challenge is competing with the industry standard quick delivery times. Next day delivery.... 2-3 working days..... We understand more than ever the excitement, after placing your order & wanting to receive your new goods within these familiar time frames. It's something we would love to be able to offer. The quality reputation Speedray has gained through how we make our products locally, may mean you are waiting a little longer than usual for your online purchase but we promise, its worth the wait! The parcel will fall into your local postal operator's system when the items have left Heathrow worldwide distribution centre and reached your country. If there is a delay, it may be that your order is held up in customs.

Well worth the purchase, especially due to the wet summer we’ve been having. As you can see from the photo Loki is not happy being out in wet weather !
Absolutely love it, great fabric and the lining is more than ideal. Easily layered or worn alone. Took France out for a walk in his new coat as so as it arrived. It’s always been tricky keeping his neck and head dry in heavy rain and snoods haven’t been ideal due to cotton or knitted fabric, having the secure snood built in to the raincoat is ideal and beyond practical. One coat has every function you may need. If you’re debating wether to bite the bullet, DO IT! It’s worth it.

To find a perfect raincoat for a sighthound isn’t that easy, untill we found Speedray on Instagram. And I must say the quality and design is fabulous. Sams long body is perfectly covered for rainy days. The design and fabric is top quality. It is a pleasure walking in our Dutch rainy weather..not a care in the world.
Moro the sighthound mix here! I love my coat, it is the perfect color for my white and light apricot coat, and fits me so well (with a little bit of room for me to keep on growing, since I got it at 7 months old and might get a smidgen bigger). I noticed a bunch of people stop my parents on the street, and even roll down their car windows/pull off, to exclaim how cute I look in it. Too bad it doesn’t rain too much here in sunny California, but when it does, this coat helps me stay dry and fancy. I give it 5 loud borks of approval!
The coat is absolutley gorgeous, the quality is incredible and I recommend SRD to everyone. Donna is an absolute pleasure and went above and beyond to help me. I'd give more than 5 stars if I could!
What a service! We had a few questions about the sizes and they helped us so well!
We received our jackets and I fell in love, the quality is very good, the details, and it fits so well for both of our beautiful galgos!
They needed a new rain jacket and because Oskar didn’t had one and he refuses to go outside without a rain jacket, I really wanted one for him and he looks good in it!

I genuinely think our dog walks better whenever she’s wearing this coat. We get excited teeth chattering whenever we get it out, and it’s just so easy to put on. It keeps her toasty and dry during the walk, and the quality is fantastic.
