The Margot Gilet - Everything you need to know
You are looking at a premium, durable waxed cotton fabric. Lightweight & soft to the touch with a lush smooth textured feel, quilted & diamond stitched. With a gorgeous variety of stunning colours to choose from. The Margot Gilet is a stunning essential piece for your everyday adventures.
The Gilet is lined, by default, with our premium CAIRO Sand jumper fabric. This provides a comfortable, warm fit. There's more!
You can customise your unique gilet with any Speedray jumper of your choice. Simply, opt for the custom lining tab & include the jumper's name in your basket notes.
Speedray has specifically designed these. Tried & tested by our family of whippets, brand reps & customers from all over the world.
They are beautifully crafted and sewn together, individually, by our local team of extremely talented seamstresses. Your gilet will be handmade to order, with materials sourced in the UK, reducing masses of wasted material & carbon footprint.

- STEP 2 | How to choose your favourite colour. Simply reference your desired Gilet colour (from the images above) in your basket notes. This is done after you have added the Gilet to your basket.

Please be aware. Notes will not be shown on your order confirmation email but we can assure you. they are received and passed onto our seamstresses.
- STEP 3 | Do you want the matching wax cotton collar or a fur collar Gilet? Choose via the design tab.
- STEP 4 |Do you use a harness? Opt for the harness hole. Choosing this option will require a less tailored, loose, wider fit to accommodate enough room for the harness to sit comfortably underneath the gilet. Please keep this in mind when opting for a harness hole.
If you do not wish to have the harness hole, simply leave the tab on 'without'.

Please note, most international items do not get tracked anymore in Royal Mails system due to COVID-19. The parcel will fall into your local postal operator's system when the items have left Heathrow worldwide distribution centre and reached your country. In most cases your local postal service will provide continued tracking. This will be linked through the tracking number you are given from us. If there is a delay, it may be that your order is held up in customs.

Following Brexit, unfortunately, If you are choosing to order from us overseas, you may be subject to pay VAT and import duties on the goods ordered. Sadly we cannot guarantee you won't be. This is imposed once your goods reach the specified destination.

We do offer Free shipping over £120 within Europe and there are discounts codes available to use. Orla10 will give you 10% off if you don't have one. To help mitigate your risk, we recommend keeping your order below £130. If you would love to get more items, consider splitting your order to match our different handmade fulfilment times. Again, this is only a suggestion.

We just love our gilet, it's super stylish and love that you can wear it as is or layer up in the colder months! Rainproof also a big bonus for dog walks in the UK. Perfect fit for our boy (L slim) and beautiful material, as always!
Really impressed not only by the quality of the gilet and the effort in making them by hand but also by the care and attention in the customer service. Turnaround was rapid, ordered on 6th Feb and received 17th Feb. I'm made up with the gilet, the Sweet Mustard shade is beautiful and I think it really suits my Maya. She's a long lurcher but with quite a narrow chest relatively, so the XL fits perfect on the length but with a bit of wiggle room in the chest which I'm happy with as she's got room for a fleece underneath if it's extra chilly. Now I've checked the fit and am suitably impressed, I shall go ahead and purchase another gilet for my Myrtle to match Maya! Thanks so much to Donna and all the team :)

Great quality and fit as usual. The Cairo jumper fits well underneath too.
We now have 3 Speedray gilets! They're an absolute wardrobe essential and such head turners. We love the uniqueness of the design, but also how practical they are for rainy or windy days (which we get a lot of in the UK!). They look equally stunning worn on their own or paired with a stylish snood or layered with a jumper. The pups love them as the lining is so cosy and the fit is perfect so they don't interfere with them exploring when we're out adventuring. Perfect for dogs who see the outdoors as an urban agility playground! They also wipe clean super easily so that's perfect for us too! The Margot gilet will forever be our most adored piece of sighthound clothing and the one thing we'd keep if we had to choose only one wardrobe staple for our boys 🤎
